The goal of Security is to ensure that all people entering the Pima County Consolidated Justice Court are provided a safe and secure environment. Judicial security officers provide 24/7 security for the building. Some of these duties include the following:

• Screen all visitors and packages that enter the building (screening is equivalent to airport security screening)
• Provide security presence at court hearings
• Provide executive security for the Judges and staff when they conduct hearings outside of the court building
• Investigate and report potential threats against the Judges and employees
• Respond to duress alarms, medical emergencies, and other types of calls for assistance

Click on the link below to see examples of Prohibited Items. Security department personnel will make the final decision on any prohibited item. Guns are absolutely not allowed in the court building. No food or drink, except water, inside the building.
